MDHL 2014 Spring Season UPDATE

UPDATE ue to numerous weather cancellations, we are pushing back start of MDHL to Saturday, April 05, 2014. 

We still owe people at least TWO more pickups from last season. I want to make sure we get that in. Plus the travel teams which does have a lot of MDHL players who will be in Philly 03/15 and 03/29 so it makes no sense to start with those two dates being  Travel Team Tourney Weekend days. Thus, we will start April 05, 2014. 

I drove by the rink and we still have some snow and ice on it. So we will not have any pickup this week. We will have it on 03/15, 03/22, and 03/29.

Since we play outdoors, we are riding out the winter days with pickup hockey as weather permits on Saturdays. But we are not too far off from playing on Saturdays with set teams and games.

I anticipate first week of March as the start of our SPRING SEASON. We have a lot of new Maryland players. I like to put together 4 DEEP teams since not everyone can play every Saturday. Games will be from 9 am - 12 pm or 1 pm (thereabouts).

PLEASE RSVP now if you want in so I can start working on rosters!

I like the idea of double headers for maximum value every Saturday!
