- Develop a coalition that is able to communicate widely with the community, mobilize community members to participate in advocacy efforts, and increase community involvement in civic life.
- Identify leaders who are positive role model, active in community, in positions of power and influence, and have a vision of working together.
- Prioritizing goals for improving the welfare based on the leadership skills in the coalition, the importance of the issue, the winnability, and how the goal will build the coalition.

Hello everybody, I would like to come but I have another engagement at the same time.
Hello friends, I would love to be there to support all of you, however I have a religious commitment that day that I cannot miss. Thanks to Valerie, Djimet and Roland for all of your hard work in bringing the larger African community together. This is very exciting!
I most likely will not be able to make it, but I would like to stay updated of what happens and to find ways in which I can help without necessarily being very involved. Thank you! I hope you have a great event.
