The Auction part of the night will last from 6pm to 9pm. At 9pm, the highest bidder on each framed print will win the matted photo. The frame is optionally available for a fixed price. Individual matted prints will available throughout the night as supplies last!

Hi Friends,

Thanks to those who have RSVP'd already! We're trying to calculate the amount of food to order, so please do RSVP if you can come (you can forward the link to your friends and it's an open RSVP system). Even if you can't make it, I am asking my friends who don't live in Seattle to donate (any amount) via Facebook Causes. Also, if you plan to come, and would like to pre-pay the $5 suggested donation for food, you can use the same link to donate through Facebook. I'm trying to raise at least $2500 through facebook and the party, and I'm trying to get at least 5 people a day to donate on Facebook!

If anyone else would like to bring any baked goods/desserts for the cause, please let me know, I could use a few more! Thanks everyone, hope to see you on Saturday, and I'll miss you all who won't be able to make it! -Darwin

Hello dear friends!

To celebrate my 25th birthday, I'd like to invite you and your friends to my house for dinner and to enjoy some photos. I'll be transforming the house into an Art Gallery populated with photos taken by some of my talented friends and me. After last year's fundraiser, I'm hoping this year's will be even better!

Since I'm turning 25, our goal is to raise $2500 to donate to Room to Read - a non-profit that builds schools and libraries in developing nations.

We'll have a variety of photos for sale via silent auction and some smaller ones you can just purchase. This year, my my friends and I are donating the prints, and therefore 100% of all sales will go to the charity. All donations are tax-deductible.

I'll be catering the event with some Filipino food and another cuisine TBD (let me know if you know a good place with reasonable prices), so there will be a $5 suggested donation that will also go to Room to Read.

All I ask is for you to bring friends, some money to donate or buy photos, and some drinks if you would like. Cash, checks or credit cards (donate online from a laptop) are all accepted!

DESSERTS & BAKED GOODS
I would like to have some desserts and baked goods for sale, with the proceeds going to the non-profit as well. E-mail me if you would like to donate a dessert or baked goods.

So cool that you are making this an annual thing, D! And RTR seems like a great org (you should encourage people to read the book, too!) Unfortunately I will be in Colorado that weekend - but would love to donate a dessert and buy another picture too. Peace
