Speaker: Leonard Linton, CEO, 1NW Contact, LLC www.1NWContact.com

A look at the cost and organizational structure of a traditional call center, and that of the re-‘visioned’ business as it exists today -- “in the cloud.” Benefits of being in the cloud will be discussed. Len Linton is the CEO of 1NW Contact, a contact center company that resides in the cloud. 1NW Contact has about 110 agents living in 38 states and they connect to the company infrastructure through the internet. The company provides inbound and outbound services (phone, email and chat) to B2C and B2B clients of all sizes and multiple industries.

Len has an undergrad degree in Math and Physics from St. Lawrence Univ. and an MBA from Michigan State (1968). He started his career at Burroughs (now Unisys) in systems analysis and moved into operations. Len came to Westlake Village in 1978 to run a manufacturing operation of 900 people at a factory where Dole’s Hqt. is now located, moved into the Retained Executive Search field in 1980 and started his own firm in 1985

In 2000 he became a partner in a startup collection agency that morphed into a call center business in a 12,000 sq ft facility in Camarillo in 2006. Len was also one of 8 founders of California Oaks State Bank that was created in Thousand Oaks in 1998 and was sold in 2010. Len closed the call center business in 2009 and started 1NW Contact as a virtual business in 2010.
