WAKA Mid Season Party: Anything But Clothes

The Dress: Yes, we can all dress up... but can we dress down? WAKA is going fashion forward by asking you to wear anything BUT clothes. Grab something -- a shower curtain, a trash bag, police tape off a crime scene, the latest in reinforced cardboard -- and get creative. Turn it into the most fabulous or funny thing you can.

The Drinks: We'll be giving you wristbands, you order drinks, they go on our tab. You get beers and wells free, it's on your plastic if you choose to high roll. That lasts until bar tab runs out. The good news is that their sweet sweet drink specials mean MORE drinking than previous mid season parties. Pizza will be showing up at some point in the evening

The Details: This is an east side bar. Plan for such. Carpool if you can! Parking is street only. They have pinball, pool, washers, bocce ball and a jukebox. Heels are probably not your best bet on the outside ground. Stick with the flips to be safe. +1s are allowed but they'll have to chip in $5 at the door for joining our awesomeness and to offset their drinking.

The Do Good: As a fun charity thing for this year, we will be auctioning people off. You only thought that was illegal. Essentially, we'll have 10 kickballers on stage that you can purchase and dress up however you want for the Oct 29th game. 5 brave men and 5 brave women - including board members, fun chicks and our WAKA rep -- are sacrificing their bodies and their dignity for charity. Auction commences at 9:00 sharp.
