Congratulations on your 20th Anniversary! JLG of SLIS continues to provide an important service and ensuing everyone has access and the right to read!
I'm so sorry to be unable to attend because of a previous commitment. I am very proud of having been there at the beginning, when Michele Besant and her purple doc martins made the rounds at the old jail. It's amazing that the JLG has survived and flourished through all these years. Congratulations!
I found my time with JLG to be very rewarding, and although I won't be able to attend I congratulate the group on its 20 year anniversary! What a milestone!
I wish I could be there! I can't believe it's been 20 years. My time spent as a member of the JLG was some of the most rewarding and I remember it fondly. Many thanks to Michele Besant for its creation and to the volunteers that keep it going. Here's to 20 more years!
So very sorry to miss this landmark event. Many many congratulations to the whole JLG, and especially to Michele!
Congratulations on your anniversary. So glad the work continues. It's important!
So sorry to miss this, but I'll be working reference on Tuesday night. Congratulations to the Jail Library Group! (I remember celebrating 15 years!)
I very much wish I could be there! So many fond memories... In fact, it was a topic of conversation when I first met my wife (who works at Rikers Island). Congrats on the 20th Anniversary Michele!!
thanks for the invite, let me know how I can keep in touch with the JLG and support your work!! Unfortunately I am far away...
Sorry! I'll be working backstage for a tech-rehearsal! But I hope you have so much fun! Hooray for twenty years!
Unfortunately, I realize that I have a prior commitment and will be unable to attend. Please keep me posted of any and all future events for the Jail Library at UW-Madison SLIS.
We only have very incomplete contact information for the many volunteers and supporters over the years, please pass on the invite if you are in touch with others you know have been involved. Thanks.
It sounds like a good event, but I am not able to come at this time.
Wish I could be there. I hope you send your words out Michele!
