San Diego Hacker News Meetup 28
Hosted By: Mike Robbins
Our 28th monthly meetup. New members are always welcome!
We're trying a new location that's just down the block from our old place: Pangea Bakery Cafe. They've got coffees, teas, smoothies, sandwiches, cakes, pastries... It's close enough that we can still plan on hopping across the street to O'Brien's Pub around 9:30pm.
We'll have a group of tables reserved at Pangea. In exchange for setting aside space for us on a Friday night, the manager at Pangea asked me for two conditions which are a bit unusual, but I think are worth giving a try for this month:
- a $6 minimum purchase per person
- that we all order under a single open tab (presumably under my name), and provide a single payment at the end of the night.
Please RSVP! I've asked for space for 15-20, but would like to make a good relationship with the staff there if we decide that we'd like to continue meeting there in the future.
More information about our group is on the SDHN wiki: http://bit.ly/sdhackernews
(Logistics note: parking at the Pangea or O'Brien's parking lots is usually challenging to impossible on a Friday night. Street parking one block back on Opportunity Rd or Ruffner St is highly recommended.)
Location:
Pangea Bakery Cafe (Kearny Mesa)
4689 Convoy St
Ste 100
(between Opportunity Rd & Engineer Rd)
