8th Annual New Year's Party!
Hosted By: Chad and Amanda Bergeron
"And on the 10th day, he played games..."
This will be the eighth year where Amanda and I throw open our doors (but not too open, it's cold out there!) and invite all our friends to come celebrate the turning of the year. Whether you have reasons to mourn the loss of the old year, or to curse it good riddance, come join us in hopeful anticipation of a good year ahead.
We'll have food and drink, music and laughter, and this year we have Pineapple Champagne, bought in Hawaii to share with everyone when the clock strikes midnight.
And of course, we'll have games. A whole downstairs room can be given over to board and card games of all sorts. And for those who prefer their social a little less directed, we'll have plenty of space throughout.
All are welcome, and be welcome to bring a dish or a drink to share. Crash space is available for those who wish it. Two cats will be closed off from the party, but medicate accordingly.
(The 'quote' above is a reference to the fact that our house is three doors down from a Seventh Day Adventist church, which is where you should try to park, as there is no on street parking and our driveway, generous as it is, will fill up.)

Sorry we didn't make it, but best wishes for a Happy New Year to everyone there.
i will pop by
Sorry, little sis. far too much going on tomorrow :(
I have a date with Betsi, but that will actually probably only go until early evening, at which point I'll likely swing by.
Andrew and I will be coming but probably not until after 10.
Diana and I will be there for the beginning of the night and then zooming off elsewhere for the second half.
Unfortunately we will be elsewhere that eve, but thank you for the invite!
I am tempted! I am not altogether sure where I will end up, however.
Thank you for the invitation, but I won't be able to make it. It was fun to see you a few weeks ago!
Sorry, we'll be sucked away for another event.
I think we'll be sticking closer to home. Sorry!
I'm going wherever my pelican goes, unless they stay in and don't want company. If so, you're top of my list unless I end up leaving town.
I wish I could come, but I've already committed to another party this new year's.
Karen is worried about leaving the new puppy home alone.
I am tempted by the games, but I am already going to a different party that night.
Thanks so much, but we're hosting too. Happy happy!
We're hosting, so won't be able to come by, but thanks for the invite!
Thanks for the invite as always, but I have other plans that evening.
I think probably not, as the kid is less in the hungry-luggage stage this year. Thanks for the invite!
Sorry, we'll either be in Maine, or Amanda will be working (that weekend is scheduled to be right before the go-live for her job's second site).
Sorry, I'll be back in NJ. Have an excellent time and a Happy New Year!
I can't guarantee I'll be there, what with all the other parties that night, but I'll sure as heck try!
