That Used to Be Us - a MOJO Book Talk - w/Agitator Brad Lehrman & special guest Harry Sapienza
Hosted By: MOJO Minnesota, Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship, Minnesota Cup
The U.S. is facing serious challenges on the innovation front. What has led the U.S. to move from world technology and economic leader to follower? Tom Friedman and co-author Michael Mandelbaum, in their just-released book That Used to Be Us, ask some difficult questions and point to a few solutions.
How does this apply to Minnesota and current efforts to re-boot our innovation economy? MOJO Agitator Brad Lehrman will lead a discussion on Friedman's book, with a spotlight on Minnesota innovation challenges and successes. Bring your tough questions (and solutions!).
Special guest Harry Sapienza, Professor and Carlson Chair of Entrepreneurial Studies at the U of M, will be joining the conversation.
Check-in at 7:30 a.m., with discussion at 8 (and hard stop at 9). Sign up fast because space is limited!
Bagels and coffee provided.
Event co-sponsored, and space generously provided by, the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship and the Minnesota Cup.
