Harbor Education Task Force

Hosted By:   Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance

Main invitation image

Join the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance and the Harbor Education Task Force for the roll-out of the Harbor Literacy Points!

The purpose of the meeting will be to launch the Harbour Literacy points – concepts about the harbor that all students should know. The Harbor Literacy Points will be used to help evaluate and create a framework for waterfront educational opportunities and information about the Harbor that educators can tie to curriculum standards.

We need your help to connect the guide to existing environmental programs in order to roll out its application in the most effective and comprehensive way possible.

Teachers and educators will receive a complementary package of materials including Splash (MWA's guide to waterfront education), HEP's Teacher's Guide to the Harbor, and (of course) a copy of the Harbor Literacy Points!

While you're there, you can also enjoy the food, fun, and activities of MWA's City of Water Day, a free day of entertainment, education & adventure celebrating the potential of our waterfront!
